What is the IFS standard about?
Trading companies in Germany and France have jointly developed a uniform quality standard.

The new IFS Food Version 6 represents the continuity of previous versions. The IFS will not give specifications in future, which are to be literally implemented one-to-one. The risk-based approach will be systematically continued.

The key question of the IFS standard is:
Is a manufacturer in a position to supply a safe product according to the specifications and in compliance with the legislation?
